TxACOM Scholarship

TxACOM is committed to professional education for its membership.  Professional education is available in classes, such as can be taken at Richland College’s department of Travel, Expositions and Meeting Management (TEMM) and also at professional conferences, such as The Special Event, ISES’ EventWorld and MPI’s WEC and Meet Different.  If you wish to take a class or attend one of these conferences, you are eligible for the TxACOM scholarship.

 

The 2010 scholarship will be given at the Aprl 20^th meeting.  The deadline to apply is March 31, 2010.    The online application currently is for certifications only.  Until this has been changed, please send a letter outlining what class you wish to take or what conference you wish to attend and fax it to 972-296-3336, attn: Jayna Monroe, Vice President of Education.

 

Please note, the scholarship winner will be expected to make both a verbal and written report to the membership of TxACOM explaining how you benefited from the scholarship.
